Why offer an "All in One Storage Kit"?

This is something that we designed to be disruptive to the college storage industry. Here's why we changed it:

NO HIDDEN FEES: Most companies charge a supply fee, admin fee, sign-up charge or some similar fee that comes as a surprise to people. We didn't like that, so we got rid of it.

IMPROPER PACKING: Charging by the box encourages people to not store all they needed or cram items into too few boxes. This meant the possibility of compromising their safety ... so we fixed it and made space irrelevant.

OVERWEIGHT BOXES: Many students were packing boxes that were way overweight and that meant our employees health was at risk. This also meant the boxes were impossible for students to move.

What is an "All in One Storage Kit"?

Includes: 8 XL Boxes / Tape / Packing Paper / Labels / Label Pouches

Is the "All in One Storage Kit" Free"?

Yes. The "All in One Storage Kit" is supplied free when you sign up.

What services does A-Plus offer?

A-Plus specializes in providing college summer storage, college shipping and college bedding and linen services. We also offer full wardrobe cleaning, leather/suede & UGG cleaning. (Please email us to discuss).

Can I store my electronics?

Yes. They must be properly and securely packaged. We suggest using the original storage packing if available. This will ensure the safety of the contents. If they are not available try towels, newspaper, bubble wrap, blankets or clothes. The better they are wrapped, the less chance that they will be damaged in transit.

Are there things that I can't store?

Yes. Cash, jewelry, hazardous materials, food, liquids and other valuables. Toiletries including shampoo and liquid soaps must be sealed in zip-lock bags. Use common sense when packing.

How should I prepare my non-boxed items?

All non-boxed items should be secure and compact. Drawers, flaps, cords and other loose items need to be closed, folded, tucked away or such. Plastic drawers must be empty. The use of tape, rope and twine is recommended.

What if my box is overweight?

Any box that weighs over 50lbs will be charged an additional half a box.

Can I use my own boxes?

We provide a mix of sizes in our "All in Storage Kit" which covers 95% of students needs. We do know that people have their own boxes. Unfortunately, due to problems in the past, we cannot allow you to use your own boxes other than original packaging boxes.

How does the shipping service work?

We will ship any box as long as it properly packed and sealed. Let's not make it more difficult than returning a package to an online store. There are two things that you need to do after your items are packed. 1. On the the outside of the box write SHIP in multiple places. 2. Email us the shipping address and how many boxes you are shipping. Be sure to mark your box(es) appropriately. You can never over mark a box. Our staff will prepare your boxes for shipment via UPS. Carrier fee plus a $20 handling fee per box will apply and be added to the final bill. All boxes will be shipped within a week of pick up. Please be patient as we will be handling an enormous amount of boxes.

How does the Bedding & Linen service work?

Every "All in One Storage Kit" will include two clear, contractor grade plastic bags. Pack this bag with your dirty comforter, blanket, sheets and towels. Be sure to include a packing label. All cleaning is handled in house as we have our own dry cleaning and laundry facility. Any additional bags to be cleaned will be charged $35. Your fresh, clean bedding and linens will be returned to you at delivery. Unfortunately, this service cannot be exchanged for a box. We also offer full wardrobe cleaning, leather/suede & UGG cleaning. Please contact a storage counselor for more details.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express & Venmo.

How is my final invoice calculated?

Following the pick up of your items, we will calculate additional charges (if any) that deviate from your original order. Those might include additional boxes, Linen Service, Shipping, non-boxed items or overweight boxes. The balance due will be sent in a Final Invoice.

What if I have to cancel my service?

You can cancel your service up until April 20th. Please email us stating that you want to cancel your order. Any cancellation after this date is subject to additional fees.

Do you charge any late sign up fees?

No. We do not charge any late sign up fees. Don't worry, but the earlier you sign up, the better we can accommodate your schedule. We will run out of space.

What if I have something unusual or it's not on the list?

No worries. Contact us and one of our college storage counselors will be more than happy to discuss and price.

When will I be able to select my pick up & delivery date/time?

No need to select either. We will start picking up students'orders after exams end. This process will take up to three weeks. Residence Life & Campus Parking determine when we can enter the dorms. In late July we will receive your new housing assignment from Residence Life. Your items will be delivered to your new dorm before you arrive in August.

What if I need an earlier or later pick up or delivery date than what you offer? What about mid-storage delivery?

No problem. We can accommodate your schedule. Please contact our storage counselor via email and we will make it happen. Because this will occur outside the normal college pack out/pack in window, you will charged an additional $150 fee. Trucks, gas and labor cost money.

What if I need more boxes?

No Problem. Sometimes students underestimate all the stuff they need to pack. We will have extra boxes and supplies on our trucks. Just let us know. UNUSED BOXES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.

Are my items insured against damage or loss?

Yes. Each and every box or non-boxed item stored with us is insured for $100 which is included in the price.

Where is your storage facility located?

A-Plus College Storage is conveniently located 20 minutes from campus in Warminster, PA. Our 15,000 sq ft facility is open Monday through Saturday. We request that an appointment be scheduled to view or retrieve your items.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express Venmo and Zelle.

How is my final invoice calculated?
